About Us
25+ Years of Experience in Serving the Needs of Our Customers
We owe a great deal of gratitude to so many wonderful individuals who have contributed to Greenwillow Grains! The company was created, and exists, because of all those who care about the community and the environment who have joined us in the commitment to support organic healthy food being grown in the Willamette Valley.
We have always been committed to quality on our farm, and have done all we could to lessen our impact on the environment. All of our organic grains are locally grown and processed.
Our farm encourages wildlife and has seen a dramatic increase in the amount of birds, mammals, butterflies, and insects that choose to live in and around our fields.
Because we do not import anything, we have seen by contributing to our communities, the direct benefit to local economies, individual livelihoods, and the health benefits of eating fresh local grains. This is why we have dedicated our resources to expanding local organic growing, creating local jobs and supporting local markets.
We think about the impact of everything we do. It is important to us to purchase everything we use from local resources whenever possible, going to the added effort and expense to source our milling equipment, bags, cleaning and packaging equipment from US manufacturers, insuring our products are the highest quality available to you.
Our Mill is located in Brownsville, Oregon. And because of unique customer needs, including deliveries to tiny and rural bakeries, we chose to distribute our own products, allowing even more employment opportunities to our local families.
Our grains are milled daily and delivered to your local shelves quickly so you get the freshest taste. Our grains and flours are all organic, they are not heated or over processed and do not contain additives or preservatives. You get nothing but wonderful, natural, unique flavors, nutrition, and qualities from each grain.
